1Coolness of our eyes
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Rabbanā hab lanā min azwājinā wa dhurriyyātinā qurrata a'yunin waj'alnā lil-muttaqīna imāmā.
Our Lord, grant us joy in our spouses and our children, and make us leaders of those who are mindful of You.
The story
Among the du'as of 'Ibad ar-Rahman (the servants of the Most Merciful), described at the end of Surah al-Furqan.

2Good in this world and the next
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbanā ātinā fid-dunyā ḥasanatan wa fil-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa qinā 'adhāban-nār.
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
The story
Anas ibn Malik said this was the du'a the Prophet ﷺ made most often.

3Set right my religion, my world and my Hereafter
اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِيَ الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَادِي، وَاجْعَلِ الْحَيَاةَ زِيَادَةً لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ، وَاجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَاحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ
Allāhumma aṣliḥ lī dīniyal-ladhī huwa 'iṣmatu amrī, wa aṣliḥ lī dunyāyal-latī fīhā ma'āshī, wa aṣliḥ lī ākhiratiyal-latī fīhā ma'ādī, waj'alil-ḥayāta ziyādatan lī fī kulli khayr, waj'alil-mawta rāḥatan lī min kulli sharr.
O Allah, set right my religion, which safeguards all my affairs; set right my worldly life, in which is my livelihood; set right my Hereafter, to which I return. Make life an increase for me in every good, and make death a rest for me from every evil.
The story
Narrated by Abu Hurayrah as one of the du'as of the Prophet ﷺ.

4Inspire me to be grateful
رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Rabbi awzi'nī an ashkura ni'matakal-latī an'amta 'alayya wa 'alā wālidayya wa an a'mala ṣāliḥan tarḍāhu wa adkhilnī bi-raḥmatika fī 'ibādikaṣ-ṣāliḥīn.
My Lord, inspire me to be grateful for the blessings You have given me and my parents, and to do good that pleases You. Admit me, by Your mercy, among Your righteous servants.
The story
Sulayman عليه السلام said this, smiling, when he heard an ant warn its colony: a king who met his blessings with gratitude.
Qur'an 27:19
